One of many interesting projects by this design group that
(if made) would translate sound into stitch patterns.
My current encounters with sewing machines and ongoing
interest in sound made this one stand out!

Beautiful paintings on wood by Audrey Kawasaki from Brooklyn.
Well worth a look if you're a man, like skateboards or have an interest in provocative women on wood.

Fernando Brizio has designed a minimalist humidifier that is a long way from your ordinary humidifier, Its works by simply filling the ceramic vessel with water and placing it on the radiator, The black wooden sphere will then close the vessel when all the water has evaporated, . .Fantastic!

These pieces by Israeli designer Ron Amitai are made from
laser-cut sheet aluminium that are simply folded into shape.
The project is called Nature of Material and is about
processing the material using traditional origami techniques,
giving softer, more natural lines.
